books by, for and about horsepeople… and a few others

Who better to write by, for and about horsepeople than a lifelong horsewoman and award-winning journalist?

My work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times,Travel & Leisure and dozens of other publications. During the 20 years I was staff reporter at the Minneapolis Star Tribune, I also freelanced extensively. My investigative journalism and feature writing have won numerous honors including a couple of Lowell Thomas Awards, American Horse Publications awards, and a USA Equestrian journalism award.

My book clients have included the foremost breeders and competitors in the world of warmbloods and thoroughbreds.

I ride western and english, ride to hounds and I drive single and pairs. This is the knowledge, skill and enthusiasm I bring to projects of my own and for others.
